Alemfre Pink House Cancer Foundation previously known as ( ABCF) was established in Atlanta, Georgia, on January 1st, 2012, by Frehiwot “Fifi” Derso, who named it after her sister Alemtsehay Derso, who passed away from breast cancer in May of 2011. AFPCF is a 501(c)(3) exempt nonprofit organization dedicated to helping Ethiopian women facing financial and resource limitations by providing access to screening, diagnosis, and treatment for breast and cervical cancer. Ultimately, we support breast and gynecological cancer survivors to run a prosperous, rewarding life while being supportive to others through their mentorship regardless of where they are on their breast health journey. Our Vision at AFPCF is to create a Cancer-Free Ethiopia through significant investment in early detection and treatment, as it truly does save lives.
