Among the various services provided by the Alemfere Pink House Cancer Foundation, one significant service is breast cancer awareness creation. As part of this effort, training sessions were organized for women leaders within the One-to-Five group (network) leaders in Maraki subcity ,Sheromeda Kebele,Gondar. These sessions aimed to equip them with knowledge about breast cancer, cervical cancer and other related health concerns.
Officials from Maraki Subcity Women’s Affairs, along with other relevant stakeholders, actively participated in the training. The program Given by,AlemFere Nurse Embet, covered key aspects of breast cancer and cervical cancer prevention, highlighting the risk
factors, early warning signs, and the importance of timely screening and diagnosis. Participants also received guidance on community outreach strategies to enhance awareness and encourage early detection, by Berhanu. Empowering women with this
